The 2009 rally will be the forty-first year Rally Queensland has been run,
with the last eighteen years based on the Forestry roads adjacent to the
town of Imbil in the Mary Valley, approximately two hours north of Brisbane.
With the Service Park situated in town and the special stages only a few
minute's drive away, Service Crews have the opportunity of observing their
Team cars in action.

The Imbil community embraces the Rally as one of the major events that
happens in the area. The Service Park is an easy 5 minutes walk from the
centre of town which has many cafés, restaurants, a supermarket, petrol
stations and an iconic Aussie pub.

|
Previous winners of Rally Queensland reads like an honours board of Australian
Rally Champions and include. Colin Bond, Ross Dunkerton, George Fury, Ed Ordynski,
Neal Bates, Possum Bourne, Cody Crocker and Chris Atkinson.
